This is my first move, so I haven't used any other services. But the service I did get from United was great. I hope others can experience the same.

I just finished moving from the LA area to Texas. I used United Van lines, and I thought they were great. They came out and did a survey of my home (to get weight and packing ideas) and I got my estimate within a few days. I love that I didn’t have to sit around and wait for a reply.

I had packed my own things, but I know they provide that too. I think they will do everything really. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I used an agent in LA named Bryan Migdol. He was very helpful.

When I used the search engine to look for a moving company there were a lot to choose from.. I found Bryan through moveunited.com, but I know there are other agents too. I trusted Bryan since he had over 20 years experience. I think the experience different people reviewing here have had is definitely dependent on the agency you use.

And all of these agents work throughout the country, no matter their location. So even if you are moving from Florida, you can still use an agent in La or Texas, wherever. Find a good agent, its key.

I would use moveunited.com again.
